I have always said we learn to function within our dysfunction…
It is actually really sad to think about. To be honest, I believe it is part of our ability to survive in a messed up broken world. I have to say there is nothing sadder than the moment when we as humans stop realizing it is truly dysfunction we live in. We begin to accept the mess as the norm and lose sight of the dream. It doesn’t matter how funcitonal you are, the world you digest through your eyes and ears every day is a tragic mess!
Starvation, murder, child abuse, and malaria…
Those are just four instances of the mess that really shouldn’t exist. Imagine four more.
Don’t lose your instinct that things really aren’t as they should be. That is why NGO’s and Non Profit’s exist. The world needs people like you; people who care! People who join movements or start them. The hope of the better way is because of people like you who see it. You fight for this perspective by giving of your money, by telling others of the vision, and by never giving up hope on day in the future when all things will be set right.
Continue to see what is but never give up hope on what could be! This holiday season, donate some of your time or money to a cause worthiy of what could be. If you need a suggestion, check out this great project where you can provide clean water around the world.
Be the Movement,
